This was a full house remodel from start to finish. We provided custom design for the entire interior, exterior, and landscaping. In just five months we had it completely transformed and elevated to fit an english cottage style home.

PROJECT GOALS
This house was in really bad shape. It needed a complete gut and redesign. We needed to bring our vision to life on a budget which meant being extremely strategic about the materials we were using and the finishes we selected. We wanted an open floor plan in the main living room which had a wall and sunken living room obstructing the space initially. It was extremely dark and dated and we needed to modernize it but in a cozy cottage type way. Brightening it up with just the right touch of paint and material selections. The exterior needed to match the interior style while not being too dark or trendy.
AKL’S APPROACH
As always we start with design plans and material selections. Our approach and challenge was selecting materials that were budget friendly but looked expensive! The construction team's approach was to do as little as possible with the current layout of the home. Keep plumbing and electrical in the same place as much as possible. The bathroom layouts stayed the exact same. The kitchen remained the same, and the laundry room remained the same as well. We added tons of value with the addition of custom cabinetry, storage, and custom venetian plaster fireplace.
